South West Mule Group

In 2010 the Dartmoor and District Mule Group changed its name to the South West Mule Group.  This is for a couple of reasons, firstly to avoid buyers thinking mules at the sale are from the Dartmoor breeds – Grey Face and White Face Dartmoor -  instead of being bred out of Scotch and Swaledale ewes.  Secondly it also shows the expansion of the group that now cover a far larger area than Dartmoor alone.
